Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

St. Michael’s has embraced Jesus’ charge to the church in Acts 1:8 (to be active witnesses) as one of the primary pillars of the church’s efforts at home and abroad. Accordingly, we emphasize mission ministries that are dedicated to “reaching out” to those who don’t know Jesus as their Savior or who need help in furthering their faith.

We have a staff and volunteer team in place to promote, coordinate, and direct all congregational involvement in mission ministries through three categories focused on: local needs (Holy City), domestic regional needs (Hurting Coast), and needs of those beyond our borders (Hungering World). We maintain active mission partnerships in each of these three areas of emphasis, and provide many ways for congregation members to be involved in mission ministries throughout the year.
