The Empathy of Jesus: The Comforted Becomes the Comforters

em·pa·thy    /ˈempəTHē/

noun the ability to understand and share the feelings of another

Have you ever said things like… “No one could possibly understand my pain…”  or “I’m the only one to have ever suffered like this…”  If you have ever said something even akin to this, then Mark 14 is a must read for you.  Today I will take you deeply into the night to a place called Gethsemane, the place where we realize Jesus truly knows our pain more than we could possibly imagine.  The key is this, Jesus understands you more than you understand yourself.  Stay tuned.
