God Off Mute

One of the most often repeated phrases in this Covid era Zoom world we are living in is:  ‘You’re muted!  Take yourself off mute!’  How many times have you said that to another and or how many times have others said that to you?  As we come to the final Sunday in Advent before Christmas, what we have to realize is that for 400 years the Jews felt God was on mute, no voice, no leading.  All of a sudden, God sends as His voice, the Angel Gabriel to Mary, the rest is history.  Yet even for some of us today God is still on mute.  Today, put yourself into the story of Luke 1, and know that just as God speaks through Gabriel, He is speaking to you as well.  Stay tuned.
