As of Sunday, July 28th, St. Michael’s has collected not only 4,377 diapers for the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, but 900 wipes and a handmade baby quilt and baby afghan blanket as well! Let’s keep it going for the last couple of collection weeks, and set a new record!
After our first delivery of diapers to LPC, we received a lovely note from Leigh Ann Taylor, the Because We Care Coordinator at Lowcountry Pregnancy Center. She wrote:
Dear Reverend Zadig and friends, We are incredibly moved and grateful for your generous donation of 1,686 diapers and 900 wipes! Our donations are low in the summertime so your gift is a huge answer to prayer. Diapers and wipes are given to our clients in parenting classes as well as families in need in our community. We could not serve them as we share Christ’s love without partnerships with people like you. Thank you again. In Christ, Leigh Ann Taylor
So how can you help? Just pick up a pack or two of diapers (any size!) while you are out shopping, and then drop them in the collection boxes in the Narthex or by the alley door in the Belser Building. LPC gives out over 80,000 diapers each year, so every pack we give helps! Thank you for supporting new moms and their children!
