Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

It is our hope that Women’s ministry at St. Michael’s acts to transform the hearts of women through the Holy Spirit by connecting women of all ages first to Jesus Christ and His forgiveness and then to each other.  Our goal as women at St. Michael’s is to live inspired lives, to serve Christ, our families, our church and our community. We do this through a variety events and activities.

JOIN US

SEASONALLY – Fall & Spring – We invite women of all ages; from St. Michaels and in our Charleston community to participate in our events and activities.  There are two large gatherings, one in the fall  and another in the spring, to gather all women to fellowship, praise, be taught, and come together in prayer.  This  setting gives us the opportunity to meet new women, experience gifted speakers, worship, and pray together.  They are festive occasions with wonderful food, laughter, and connection. Check your Messenger for news of these events.

WEEKLY – We inspire women through the many ministries offered at St. Michael’s; teaching, study, healing, testimony, prayer,  and shared life experience. There are interactive Bible studies that are topical, using a selected book or subject, and Bible studies that are more lecture oriented, held throughout the week at the church and in homes.  There are also weekly groups that are directed to healing prayer, as well as women’s life groups that focus on relational Bible study.

INTERESTED IN CONNECTING?

We inform women by sharing opportunities for inspiration and connection by meeting individually with a mentor/friend in order to help you find the place which will most meet your needs for growing as a woman of God.  In addition, the Messenger frequently has articles that are helpful and informative about the many opportunities for women  to grow and connect.

We include all women who request “connection” assistance or information in becoming part of Women’s Ministries or any other St. Michaels’ ministry by following up with a personal introduction and connection to the leader of that group, class, or event.  We desire to find a place for every woman to be part of St. Michael’s, to be known, and to belong.  Come and connect with us.
