We have heard in recent weeks how God’s amazing covenant love culminated in the cross of Jesus Christ, and how that same cross gives us hope that we can stand in the day when the fire of God’s holiness consumes all sin and makes all things new. Now that salvation has come in Christ, today we learn how we should live in this world as we await the coming of our King.
