Kharma is Dead

Sermon preached on Sunday, December 16, 2018

It was the longest period of darkness I had ever encountered.  Yes, from Calcutta India, through New Deli then on to New York, 21 hours of travel in total darkness (we were flying west and and going away from the sun).  It was a profound way to end our mission in India, a symbol of the darkness that surrounded us in a country mired in spiritual and physical poverty. This is the darkness described in Isaiah 9 for today, yet Isaiah promises that someone powerful is coming to pierce that physical and spiritual darkness.   Someone so powerful that not even Kharma can survive! Stay tuned.
