The Rev. Justin Hare was our guest preacher at the Chapel and 6 pm services on the opening Sunday of our Global Impact Celebration on Sunday, February 10.
Justin Hare was born and raised as a member of St. Michael’s Church, where he was baptized, confirmed and was an active member of the youth group, acolyte and choir programs. He graduated from Porter-Gaud high school in 2005 and then went to play golf for Duke University, graduating in 2009. Upon graduation, Justin worked in youth ministry within the Diocese of South Carolina, having the joy of serving as the Youth Minister at St. Michael’s Church from 2010-2013. Justin and his wife Molly then moved to Philadelphia for seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in May 2017. During this time, Justin and Molly welcomed their two children Graceanna (5) and Law (2) into their family. After seminary, Justin was called to Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Clemson, SC to serve as their College Minister. Christ the Redeemer and Justin have partnered with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO), a campus ministry organization which partners with local churches, in order to reach Clemson students with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ. Justin enjoys hearing the stories of college students, playing golf when he can, reading books, hiking with the family, and learning new things especially when it comes to cooking or food.
