“Education doesn’t consist in telling people new things, it consists in extracting from their memories what they already knew.” -Plato
Today as we enter week two of Advent, it’s time to look through the lens of John the Baptist, and into the relationships in our lives. How are those relationships with family, friends, and colleagues? Are they whole? Broken? Needing repair? One of the things John the Baptist continues to teach us is the way to build community through the power of relationships. All the more important as we make rough places smooth to prepare the birth and re-birth of Jesus into our hearts. So, while you may not learn much new today, we will extract Biblically from your memory what you already know!
