The Rev. Anthony Thompson and the Congregation and Choir of Holy Trinity Reformed Episcopal Church were our guests this Sunday for Michaelmas. The Rev. Thompson preached at the 10:30 am Sanctuary service.
A graduate of Bishop England, Benedict College, and Cummins Theological Seminary, the Rev. Anthony Thompson has been the pastor of Holy Trinity Church on Bull St since 2010. After losing his wife in the massacre at Mother Emanuel, Rev. Thompson famously declared the forgiveness of Jesus Christ before a watching world. Since that day he has become an ambassador of Christ’s forgiveness and reconciliation in Charleston and beyond.
