Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

Saying good bye and sending one off to the next chapter

Melanie Mitt one of our dear Toddler Time assistants and beloved nursery worker has graduated C of C in psychology and will be getting married in a few weeks. She will be moving to Texas to follow her husband’s military career. We want to thank Melanie for all her helping hands and tender loving care she poured out over the years to our babies and tots.

Here is a reflection from Melanie about her time with us and the ministry.

Dear St. Michaels Church:

Hello everyone! My name is Melanie Mitt and I work and attend at St. Michael’s Church. This has been an amazing experience for me. I came from working a minimum wage job where I was worked full time and trying to stay afloat in school. Cyndee was gracious enough to give me an opportunity to work with the nursery and youth team. I had little experience working with children, but Cyndee took a leap of faith in me. Cyndee and Scott have been the most incredible support system I have ever had. They both have such kind hearts and will do anything in their power to make sure everyone is taken care of.

The Caves have been such a good influence in my life. They have brought me closer to God each and every day. They put 100 percent into the youth ministry. I am so blessed to be part of the team. Cyndee and Scott not only created a team for the youth group, they created a family. I will miss my St. Michael’s family. I am blessed to say I have been part of this team.
