Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

Laura Waring Gruber

Laura Waring Gruber- A cradle member of St. Michael’s since 1970, I enjoy the unique perspective of seeing our Sunday School, Children’s Choir, and Youth Group as both participant and parent. Robert and I will celebrate our 20 th wedding anniversary in May, and we are the proud parents of Laura (15) Cecilia (12) and Axel (10). As a practicing attorney for 20 years, I have served abused and neglected children as Senior Staff Attorney for Richland County CASA, as well as private clients in employment law and general civil litigation with Grimball and Cabaniss LLC. In the community, I have served as PTA president of Saint Andrew’s School of Math and Science and on the Board of Trustees of the Charleston Museum and Charleston City Ballet.

Currently, it is my privilege to serve as Team Captain for the 9:30 Chapel Service, where all generations worship together. Seeing the faces of precious children as they receive their blessing and feeling connected to each communicant through the chalice I bear, it is my prayer that each family will grow in their faith as ours has grown by serving.
