The Fruit of the Spirit: Living Proof of God Dwelling In Us

The fruit of the spirit is the living proof that the Spirit of God dwells within us.  Think about it for a minute.  What is the fruit of the Spirit?  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.  Here is the good news.  This preaching series is not about you trying to strive more and do more to receive the fruit.  That’s good news!  It’s actually about surrendering to the Holy Spirit, asking Him to give you this supernatural fruit!

Over the next several weeks we will unpack and apply each fruit to our daily lives.  Yet realize this…This preaching series is more than just a Sunday sermon!

  • You and or your life group can use the Toolbox on our website that corresponds to the particular fruit assigned for the week.
  • Our Tool Time class (at 9:15 in the Kinloch Room) will also unpack each fruit on the corresponding Sundays (except for today where we have a plenary on the Anglican Church of North America)
  • The fruit of the spirit was the topic of teaching by our St. Michael’s mission team to Kenya last summer.  They developed a curriculum and as part of that did a 4-minute video on each fruit.  In each Sunday bulletin, you can code up to your phone and watch the video that corresponds to that fruit!
