Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

Holy City Connects are mid-sized (15-30) casual gatherings that support and encourage intergenerational relationships and are open to anyone! Newcomers to Charleston, visitors and new and long-time St Michaelites are welcome and encouraged.  They meet every other week in three locations — West Ashley, Mount Pleasant and on the Peninsula.  A typical Holy City Connect time includes relaxed conversation with snacks or dinner, a Bible focused discussion, small group time, and an opportunity for prayer.  Come for an evening or come all semester!

Reflections from St. Michaelites about Holy City Connects

Al, I just wanted to share with you that we Mount Pleasanters just had a lovely Holy City Connects evening at the Herrings!  It just seemed to hit all the right notes between praise, scripture and socializing with the responsibilities shared between individuals and couples.  The evening truly was an inter-generational melding of St. Michaelites, whereas Chris and I knew many, there were those that we have only seen across the church and this gave us the opportunity to mingle, as well as re-connect with those we haven’t seen in a while.  I haven’t had such an enjoyable evening in a long time renewing old ties and welcoming new.  Kudos to the Herrings for hosting, but also to the whole entire team for a truly successful evening as we look forward to our next gathering. Peace and Blessings, Kimberly
