Fruit of the Spirit Preaching Series Continues

During Lent, we have been diving into the fruit of the Spirit as found in Galatians 5. You remember them, right? Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control. As a preacher, I have found it exciting to jump into each of these vast topics. It’s so important that we hear each sermon as the one before sheds light on the one after! Remember that the fruit of the Spirit cannot be manufactured by us. It’s the fruit of the Spirit, not the fruit of us! So having the fruit of the Holy Spirit of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience etc, is the outcome of being filled with the Holy Spirit and is living proof that God dwells in us. Therefore, the fruit of the Spirit rules our life, when Jesus rules our souls.
