Dynamic Downtown Worship in the Anglican Tradition

Festival of Faith 2019

Join us this Sunday as we gather together as a family to worship, vote, and vision cast. The Annual Meeting will start in the Sanctuary promptly at 9:00 am. We will vote on vestry and convention delegate candidates, review the previous year, and look forward to the coming year. At 10:30 am, our regular 10:30 am services begin, both in the church, and the Chapel service (which has been temporarily relocated to the Kinloch Room, due to A/C issues). There will be NO Sunday School, although a nursery is available for those 4 years and younger.

After our shortened worship service, we will all gather together again in the churchyard at 11:15 am for our Potluck Picnic. We are asking everyone to bring something to share, based upon the first initial of your last name.

If your last name begins with A – E, please bring dessert

If your last name begins with F – L, please bring salad

If your last name begins with M – R, please bring a side dish

If your last name begins with S – Z, please bring an entree

Bring your potluck dish to the kitchen between 8:00 am and 10:30 am. We will have people there who will make sure your dish is kept safely until lunch. Bring prepared foods only, ready to serve. We cannot cook any dishes, put together salads, or arrange food on platters or trays. Our kitchen crew will transport all food to the tables in the churchyard before the end of the 10:30 am services. Please bring food on serving platters or bowls, with serving utensils. Label these items with your name, if you want them returned to you.

We will have our regular 8:00 am and 6:00 pm services on Sunday.

At 12:30 pm, there will be an information meeting in the Connection Room in the Hewitt Building for the Healing Mission trip to India on November 11 – 23. This is an excellent chance to find the answers to all your questions about going on a mission trip to India. If you can’t make it to the meeting, or need more information, please contact Jean Corbett at embreesc@gmail.com.
