Family Fun Holy Week Activities
Paige Smythe, our Director of Children’s Ministry, has put together some fun activities for Holy Week that families can do together. We would love to see pictures of your family during Holy Week! Send photos or stories to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Social Distancing Easter Egg Hunt
Directions: Print images of eggs, color them, and tape in the window facing the street. Then walk around the neighborhood to see how many eggs you can find. This will be a fun way to include your neighbors!
What you need: printer, colors, neighbor participation
Action Eggs Easter Family Activity
Directions: Here’s a fun way to incorporate the Resurrection story into your at-home Easter Egg Hunt! Kids will hunt for the empty egg (like the empty tomb), and complete actions along the way!
What you need: printer, scissors, plastic Easter eggs
Easter Nature Walk and Scavenger Hunt
Directions: Search for each item on the “Things to Find List”, reflect and discuss what it represents as a family. To add to this activity you can search for the scripture that goes along with what each item represents. If you’re in the Children’s Sunday School class be sure to bring the items you find next week. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
The Road to Easter Activity Sheet
Directions: Print the activity page and cut out the bottom squares. Look up the Bible verses and place the matching event in order of when they happened from Start to Easter.
What you need: Printer, scissors, can be done individually or with a helper.
