Sunday School for Adults – Tool Time: Track 1 – Armor of God

Armor Up

The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians gives us a clear view of the fiery trials around us and how to armor up and then stand.  In fact he uses the word STAND four times in describing what we must do and how to do it:  Able to stand, withstand in the evil day, stand firm, and stand therefore. The image is not of one who puts the armor on and then cowers in the corner.

Come. Learn how to Armor Up and then stand in the strength of HIS might. We will be taught by some of St. Michaels seasoned warriors, those who have done battle with the enemy and won on the prayer ministry field. They come with stories of having been there, of times when their armor was down and of seeing the miracle of standing in HIS might against the seemingly impossible.  Our teachers will be the Rev. David Booman, Jean and Johnnie Corbett, Harriet Harris, Susan Herrmann, Truman Kemp and Charles Waring.

Join us for this 7-week series beginning February 11.

The course will be taught each Sunday from 9:15 to 10:10 in the Kinloch room.

Armor provided by God.
