Loving Well 2008 Caregiver Retreat

HFM is hosting its annual Caregiver Retreat at beautiful Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island, SC. The event will be from Friday evening, September 19th to Saturday afternoon, September 20th. The retreat will feature video teachings by noted author Beth Moore.

The retreat is for any woman who finds it her privilege to be a caregiver for someone - nurses, doctors, teachers, therapists as well as parents caring for disabled or chronically ill children, spouses caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, adult children caring for aging parents, or a busy mom keeping up with busy children!

The Loving Well video series is about discovering God’s love for us and how we must extend that love to others. Some people are a joy to love, some are difficult to love, and we all have to deal with some people who are humanly impossible to love. In all those relationships one truth endures: We will never be able to love others well until we have been loved well. And only God can ultimately give us the complete love we so desperately need.

The retreat will include video teachings, wonderful fellowship, excellent meals, inspired praise and worship and small group discussions designed to address issues specific to caregivers. When you choose to set aside this time to bask in His love, you and those you care for will be blessed.
