Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
About our Nurseries
Because we have your child’s best interest and faith at heart, it is our goal to provide a clean, loving environment in each of the nurseries at St. Michael’s Church, as well as to provide opportunities for spiritual growth.
In Infant and Toddler Nurseries are open at 8:30 am for the 8:45 am Family Service and remain open until after the 10:30 worship service. Both nurseries are also open for the 6:00 Sunday evening Holy Communion service. The Nurseries are located on the first floor of the Belser Building off the Loggia.
Please read this information carefully and leave your child with us while you enjoy the adult Christian education programs and the worship services.

Infant Nursery. . . for babies ages 3 to 17 months
This nursery is adequately equipped with cribs, a changing table, baby swings, walkers, and rocking chairs. Soothing background music helps create a warm, nurturing environment.
Because we understand how difficult it can be to leave a newborn in a new environment, we provide beepers for parents. This creates peace of mind for the parents by enabling them to remain in contact with the Nursery Care Providers.
Toddler Nursery. . . for children 18 to 36 months
St. Michael’s provides a warm, Christian environment for toddlers, staffed by experienced hired Nursery Care Providers. Our Nursery Staff lovingly reads Christian stories and plays stimulating music for their audience.
The nursery is adequately equipped with a changing table, a variety of safe, age-appropriate toys and a television with VCR for viewing Christian videos. A mid-morning snack is served to the children.

Additional Activities
Toddler Time, an outreach of St. Michael’s Church was created to nurture the 11-23 month old child. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of toddlers who are developing their personal freedom as their mobility matures and their curiosity about their environment increases. Janet Sosnowski directs Toddler Time.
Wee Ones Worship Service, our Sunday School for toddlers, is taught during the 10:30 am service, using the 2’s and 3’s FaithWeaver’s Curriculum.
Volunteering
Our nurseries are staffed by hired, experienced, Nursery Care Providers.
St. Michael’s offers volunteer opportunities as Nursery Monitors. Our Nursery Monitors greet visitors, parishioners, and newcomers. They also assist parents and children with any special needs and make sure nursery rooms are prepared for each Sunday morning.
Should you want to be a parent monitor or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Church office at 723-0603.
